Meet Coco, a blind and deaf albino lop-eared bunny who has found her forever home at the sanctuary! Named in honor of one of our all-time favorite horses, Coco Chanel, this sweet bunny has already captured our hearts.

Coco’s journey to us began after the heartbreaking loss of Elvis. We knew Lilli, our other bunny, needed a new friend, and a quick search on Craigslist led us to Coco. She was listed as free to a good home, but it was heartbreaking to see that her previous owners didn’t ask a single question about where she was going. While it was tough to leave behind the other animals, we’re so grateful that Coco is now safe, loved, and protected for life.

Albino bunnies like Coco often face unique challenges, including an increased likelihood of blindness and deafness. She’ll need a stable, familiar environment, protection from the sun, and extra care when introduced to other animals. Thankfully, Lilli adored her immediately, as if she instinctively understood Coco’s special needs.

Despite her challenges, Coco is a resilient and loving bunny who thrives with the extra care and love she receives.
