Diego’s Street Dog Program Fund

$50,000

During a trip to Colombia in February 2020, my close friend and I encountered a VERY scruffy beat up, bloody, emaciated lovable dog wandering the streets of Cartagena. Despite encountering countless street dogs during my travels, there was something special about this one. We both felt compelled to intervene; it was evident that he wouldn't survive much longer on his own. Taking swift action, we embarked on a journey that led us to provide him with a safe haven. Named Diego, after the place where we found him—San Diego Square—he now resides in his forever home at Flying Pigs Sanctuary.

We’ve established a fund with a goal of making annual trips to international destinations that are often in dire need of financial support and assistance in rehoming dogs and cats in need. Our mission extends beyond merely bringing animals back; we are committed to implementing spaying and neutering programs during our visits that will help address the root of the issues.  Puerto Rico is slated as our inaugural destination. Are you ready to join us on this extraordinary journey?
