Hazy is a shining example of our Old Dog Promise, a commitment to providing senior dogs with the love and care they deserve in their golden years. Rescued at the age of 10 from the brink of euthanasia, Hazy’s story is one of resilience and transformation. Her previous family was unable to provide the veterinary care she desperately needed, leaving her malnourished and suffering from every worm imaginable—including heartworms.

After extensive deworming and heartworm treatment, Hazy quickly gained 20 pounds, settled into our pack effortlessly, and captured everyone’s hearts with her soulful brown eyes and perky, oversized ears. From surviving in a garage filled with garbage and feces to curling up on a pillow in bed each night, Hazy’s gratitude shines through every single day.

She is, in every way, the perfect companion—gentle, loving, and endlessly endearing. We manage her arthritis with medication and have addressed a few health issues along the way, making her monthly sponsorship slightly higher than the other pups. But Hazy is worth every penny!
